Edifying Beats was built on a simple but powerful idea: there should be a better, more professional standard for event entertainment.

Since day one, we’ve focused on delivering events that are not only fun and high-energy, but also polished, organized, and thoughtfully executed.

Weddings quickly became our specialty and continue to be the heart of what we do, alongside Sweet 16’s, Quinces, corporate events, and school celebrations.

Meet DJ Danny, Founder & Lead Event Host/DJ

What’s up party people!! Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me and our team of DJs. It truly means a lot to me.

I was born in Uptown Manhattan, NYC, to Colombian parents, and from a very young age I was surrounded by the rich culture, energy, and music that helped shape who I am today. Growing up bilingual and speaking fluent Spanish has allowed me to connect with a wide variety of clients throughout South Florida and create unforgettable experiences for diverse crowds and cultures.

Music has always been more than just entertainment to me, it has been a way to bring people together and create moments that they will remember for a lifetime. Over the years, I’ve been blessed with having great taste in music, understanding how to read a room, and knowing when to play the perfect song at just the perfect moment. Whether I’m blending multiple genres seamlessly for a Bride and Groom from two different cultural backgrounds, creating emotional moments through heartfelt MCing, or filling the L.E.D. Dance Floor with unforgettable party anthems, my goal is always the same: to create an experience that feels personal, energetic, and unforgettable.

One of my greatest passions is learning about different cultures and the music that represents them. I genuinely enjoy studying and understanding the sounds, traditions, and styles that make every celebration unique. That knowledge, appreciation, and passion show up in every set I play and allow me to connect with guests from all backgrounds in a very authentic way.

What began as a hobby in my bedroom eventually became a true passion and, by God’s grace, a thriving business since 2002. My very first professional event was a wedding, and from that moment on, I fell in love with the entire celebration process, from the ceremony to the very last dance of the evening.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the honor of being part of Weddings, Corporate Events, Sweet 16s, Quinces, Mitzvahs, School Dances, Church Events, and numerous other special occasions. My attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to excellence have allowed me to consistently provide an elevated entertainment experience that clients can trust and enjoy with complete confidence.

Most importantly, I want to sincerely thank every client who has placed their trust in us to be a VERY important part of such meaningful milestones in their lives. It is a responsibility I will never take lightly.

I also want to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for making this journey possible, as well as my beautiful wife and kids for their love, sacrifice, understanding, and unwavering support throughout the years.

And last but not least, a BIG shout out to Shane Presley of DJ Shane Entertainment in Melbourne, Florida! A longtime high school friend, a pioneer in the game and someone who has helped guide me since day one. His professionalism, creativity, passion, and the incredibly high bar he has set in this industry have inspired me tremendously throughout my career. Watching his dedication to excellence made me create a personal challenge for myself: to become a better DJ today than I was yesterday, and a better DJ tomorrow than I am today!
